Installing Legendary Isles | Running Legendary Isles | Creating an Account | Creating a Character
First things first, if you don't have an account, you cannot play the game. To create an account, you must first download the executable game and install it.
To install the game, double-click on the installation file and follow the instructions.
Once the game is installed click:
Start -> Programs-> Legendary Isles-> Legendary Isles and you will be taken to the server screen (Figure 1). Select the server which you would like to play in by either double-clicking the server name in the list or click the server name once to highlight the server and click the "Connect" button at the bottom right of the screen.

Once you have done this, you will be taken to the login screen (Figure 2). Type in your username and password and click the "Login In" button to login. If you do not already have an account created, please follow the instructions for Creating an Account below.

If you do not already have an account, this is where you make one! Go through the steps of Running Legendary Isles as described above and when you get to the Login Screen, click on the "Sign Up" button. This will take you to the Account screen (Figure 3). Here you will be prompted to enter your information for your new account.

Once you have finished creating your account, click the "Create Account" button at the bottom of the screen. You will be taken back to the Login Screen. Enter your username and password to join the world of Legendary Isles!
Once you have created an account you will need to create a character. Each account is allowed up to 4 characters at any given time.
Run Legendary Isles as described above and enter your username and password to be taken to the character screen (Figure 4). Here you will be asked to select one of your current characters to play with. If you have an free slot and wish to create a character click on the "Create Character" button below the open slot.

You will have to choose a name for your character, gender and race. Brief descriptions of each race along with highlights of some of the benefits and drawbacks to each race are available. Simply click on the race you would like to view and the textbox to the left will display the appropriate information.
Once you have chosen your name, gender and race, it is time to select where you would like your 4 attribute points to be placed. The best placement is based on race and personal preference. However, it is better to have an understanding of what they stand for, so refer to Understanding your Attributes for more information.
Once you have finished creating your character, click the "Create Character" button at the bottom of the screen. You will be taken back to the Character Screen. Choose an existing character by clicking the load button below the character to join the world of Legendary Isles!
