There is a large list of skills available for you to develop and explore within the world of Legendary Isles. Some are listed below but others must be uncovered within the game.

Every skill requires resources in one form or another. Resources can be depleted in an area temporarily if too many people are extracting them at once. Once an area is depleted of that resource you must venture to another area until the previous area has been replenished.

Alchemy

You must purchase a mini-cauldron and the proper components. Add the components to the mini-cauldron one at a time. Once you have the proper combination of ingredients locate a large bubbling cauldron. Double-click the mini-cauldron and click on the large bubbling cauldron to pour the contents in. If you are successful you will create a potion corresponding to the combination of ingredients you added to your mini-cauldron.

Carpentry

Once you have obtained some planks by milling you will need to purchase some carpentry tools. Once you have obtained the tools double-click on the planks or wood you wish to use. A list will appear that will display the items you are currently able to attempt based on the wood or planks you are using and your current skill level. Click on the items you wish to craft and you will begin to attempt crafting that item.

Forging

Once you have obtained ingots you will then need to purchase a blacksmiths hammer and find an anvil. Double-click the blacksmiths hammer and click on the ingots you wish to forge. A list will appear that displays the items you are currently able to forge based on your current skill level. Click on the item you wish to attempt and you will begin to forge the item.

Harvesting

To begin you must purchase a scythe. Double-click on the plant you wish to harvest.

Herb Lore

You must purchase an herb knife and locate a patch of flowers. Double-click the herb knife and click on the flowers.

Jeweller

Once you have the required components you will need to purchase a jewellers mould and tools. Add the components to the jewellers mould one at a time in the right combination. Once you have added all the components double-click on the tools and click on the mould to begin your attempt.

Leatherworking

Once you have obtained leather you will need to purchase some leatherworking tools. Once you have obtained these tools double-click them and click on the leather you wish to craft. If your skill allows you to work with the leather a list will appear that will display the items you are currently able to make based on the leather and your skill level. Click on the item you wish to craft to begin your attempt.

Lumberjacking

Once you have purchased a lumberjack axe travel to the nearest tree. Double-click the axe and click on the tree. If there are any resources available you will begin to attempt to extract them. If there aren't any resources available then you will receive the message that the area has temporarily been depleted of its resources and you will have to find more elsewhere. If you succeed you will obtain woodof varying types.

Milling

Once you have obtained some wood you will need to purchase a saw. Double-click on the saw in your backpack and click on the wood. You will begin to attempt to mill the wood into planks.

Mining

In order to mine you must first buy a pick axe. Once you have purchased a pick axe travel to the nearest mountain or a large boulder. Double-click the pick axe and then click on the mountain or boulder. If there is any ore within the rock you will begin to attempt to mine it. If the source doesn't contain any ore then you will receive the message that the area has temporarily been depleted of its resources and you will have to find more elsewhere. If you succeed, you will obtain iron ore, gold ore or raw crystals.

Planting

You will need to purchase a shovel and the proper seeds. Locate an unused patch of farm land, double-click on the shovel and then click the farm patch to dig a hole. Once a hole is made double-click the seed you wish to plant and click on the hole. You will begin to attempt to plant the seed. The length of time until harvesting will depend on the seed type.

Sewing

Once you have cloth available you will need to purchase tailors tools. Double-click the tailor's tools and click on the cloth you wish to use. If your skill allows you to work with the material a list will appear that displays the current items you are able to craft based on the cloth and your skill level. Click on the item you wish to craft to begin.

Skinning

Any creature or animal that has a pelt can be skinned. Your current skill level will determine what creatures you are able to skin. To begin purchase a skinning knife and once you have killed a creature during combat double-click the skinning knife and click on the corpse. You will not be able to skin the corpse if it has already been skinned. Each corpse can only be skinned once.

Smelting

Once you have obtained an ore you will travel to a forge to smelt it. You must first make sure that the forge is turned on. If it isn't on double-click the forge. Once the forge is turned on double-click the ore in your backpack and click on the forge. You will begin to smelt the ore.

Spinning

Once you have obtained some cotton or wool you will need to locate a spindle. Double-click the cotton or wool and click on the spindle to attempt to spin the cotton or wool into thread.

Stone Shaping

To begin you must first purchase some stone shaping tools. Once you have purchased the tools you will need to obtain some raw crystals. Double-click the stone shaping tools and click on the raw crystals to being to shape them into gems.

Tanning

Once you have obtained some hides through skinning you will need to purchase some tanning oil and locate a tanning vat. Double-click the tanning oil and click on the hides while standing next to the tanning vat. If your skill allows you to work with the hides you will begin to attempt to tan the hides.

Weaving

Once you have thread available you will need to locate a loom. Double-click the thread you wish to weave into cloth and click on the loom.
